History
History lessons at Rosetta will inspire pupils’ curiosity to know more about the past. Teaching should equip pupils to ask perceptive questions, think critically, weigh evidence, sift arguments and develop perspective and judgement.
The Critical Question will begin the enquiry process for each topic. The subsequent learning will provide the building blocks pupils need to enable them to answer the Critical Question at the end of the topic. Each lesson should focus on at least one skill, this does not necessarily need to be recorded. However, ALL evaluations of the Critical Questions need to be recorded at the end of the enquiry process as this will be your assessment of pupils understanding and their depth of knowledge.
